Children’s Disco

Friday 16th July 5pm – 7pm To be held in the school Sports Hall. Tickets for the children will be £2.50 each or £5.00 per family (3 or more). The ticket price includes unlimited squash, a snack and the disco. There will also be BBQ food, a bar for us grownups, face painting, glo-sticks, chocolate fountain and of course all the fun of the party! and you never know perhaps one or two surprises! The children love this event so we hope to see you all there – maybe even Throwing a few shapes on the Dance Floor wooohwho!

Summer Dance

Friday 9th July will be an evening to be remembered! Held in the marquee at the Anchor Inn, Barcombe from 8pm til late.

Tickets will be £20 each and will include a welcome drink, plenty of excellent food from the Hog Roast, Deserts and of course a disco, Mix this up with company of Good friends and family and your sure to have a good time!

There will be a separate bar in the Marquee along with the fabulous PTA Raffle with some spectacular prizes. This is set to be a fantastic event, so why not get friends and family together for superb summer evening of Fun and Good Times! Tickets will be on sale shortly – look out for more details coming soon!

Fathers Day Hamper Raffle

Friday 18th June How can we forget the Dad’s? Look out in the book bag’s for the raffle tickets coming home. We will also be selling them in the playground. This Hamper will be a perfect Fathers day present. Draw date for the raffle is Friday 18th June..

World Cup Non School Uniform Day

Friday 11th June. To mark the start of the FIFA World Cup, children are welcome to come to school dressed in a National football kit or simply in the colours of their favourite team. £1 charge per child will go directly to pay for storage boxes for the children’s playground equipment. A really good fun way to get into the team spirit of the game!

Childrens Clothes Show

Thursday 10th June from 2pm - There will be a Childrens Clothing sale held at the school, Keep an eye out in your childrens Book bags for more details. The clothes on sale are superb quality and bang on trend – so not an event to be missed. £1 from each item sold will be donated to the PTA so this really is a fantastic way to raise some funds. Happy shopping everybody!

We need your Jumble

This Saturday is the PTA table top sale in the Village Hall, Your school needs you – well your unwanted good quality jumble anyway!

PTA members will be on hand in the playground this week to take any unwanted jumble that you may have. Or if you want to take part yourselves why not have your own table. Each table costs just £10, this could be the perfect way to turn some unwanted jumble into some cash.

We are also on the look out for Yummy home made Cakes and Biscuits to sell on the day from the PTA refreshment stand.

Valentines Party – Thankyou

Just a Quick update and huge thankyou to all who were involved. This was the first major event for the New PTA, we are very pleased to announce that we raised in the region of £400!!

This however could never have happened without the generous help of Pete Lilley, who did an amazing job as our DJ! and our wonderful face painting team who really did light up the Childrens faces, Karen Parsons, Hannah Oakden and Sarah Wise.

So a big thankyou to everyone involved – well done

Friday 19th March – Sport Relief

Come and Run, Hoola Hoop, Skip, or perhaps Hop a lap of the Rec in aid for Sports Relief. How will you complete your Lap??

In aid the National Charity Sport Relief after school, children and parent’s are invited to run upto 3 times around the rec. £1 to enter and there will a prize for the most inventive way of completeing a lap, for each class. Your welcome to take part as an individual or get your children togther with class freinds to make a team?

Your £1 will go directly to Sport Relief. Your PTA will be there on hand for refreshments. We will be selling cakes, teas and coffees under the reception class shelter! Come and join us for a fun afternoon raising funds for a worth while charity and your school!

Yummy Friday’s

A regular favorite has returned to the Playground on a Friday afternoon. The PTA cake stall will be in the playground every Friday afternoon when you pick up your children.

This a lovely way for the children to end their school week, and for the PTA to keep raising the funds for our school! The cake stall is manned by members of your PTA so why not pop along we are always open to any fundraising suggestions you may have.

So please remember to have some pennies in your pockets on Friday’s for a cake or two!

Mothers Day Hamper Raffle

Our latest fundraising effort was a raffle, the prize was a much wished for Mothers Day Hamper. Filled with all sort’s of yummy goodies this would have been on the wish list of any Mother this Sunday. And the winning ticket belonged to Fiona Condie. Congratulations Fiona ~ Enjoy!!
